Stand Up for SNAP
As part of my graduate coursework, I developed a strategic campaign proposal to advocate for continued federal SNAP funding. I created sample graphics and messaging aligned with best practices. This project highlights my skills in persuasive communication, campaign design, and advocacy communications.
Nonprofit Strategic Plan
In this graduate assignment, I built a comprehensive strategic plan for a national nonprofit organization. I conducted an extensive analysis and audit of their current communications, and proposed strategies to help them increase their reach and accomplish organizational goals.
Community Eligibility Provision Campaign
I developed a statewide awareness campaign to educate school business administrators and nutrition directors about the Community Eligibility Provision. I created informational briefs, coordinated an online event, and produced other communications materials to persuade more schools to opt in to the program. More than 100 school leaders attended our session, and dozens of districts enrolled – giving tens of thousands of students access to free school meals.
Website Redesign
I guided the founder of Advancing with Purpose through a brand development process that defined their mission, values, services, and visual identity. After refining brand language, organizational goals, and visual identity, I implemented those elements into a new site design to create a more cohesive and professional digital presence.
Fundraiser Promotion
I managed the promotional campaign for CFA’s 49th Annual Fall Fundraiser, developing social media posts, designing emails, and writing the event press release. More than 150 people attended and the event raised $70,000.
Strategic Plan Design
I translated a dense internal strategic planning document into an engaging and easy to read format for public audiences. This project showcases my ability to merge design with strategic communication.
